RESOLUTION ENACTING AN ORDINANCE DECLARING SAN MIGUEL ISLAND, NATUNAWAN COVE AND BRGY. BUANG (MAYON) AS ECO-AGRICULTURAL TOURISM SITES OF THE CITY OF TABACO
WHEREAS, the City of Tabaco is not only the haven of commerce and trade in the First District of Albay, it is also home to many tourist attractions;
WHEREAS, there is a need to protect these spots for its perservation in order to attract more tourist, both local and foreign thereby increasing the tourism industry in the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion unanimously approved through nominal voting by the body, be it.
RESOLVED to enact, as this Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tabaco hereby enacts an Ordinance declaring San Miguel Island, Natunawan Cove and Brgy. Buang (Mayon) as eco-agricultural tourist sites of the City of Tabaco
RESOLVED LASTLY that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Barangay Councils of the five island-barangays of San Miguel, Brgy. Buang and all concerned for their information and guidance.

AN ORDINANCE DECLARING SAN MIGUEL ISLAND, NATUNAWAN COVE AND BRGY. BUANG (MAYON) AS ECO-AGRICULTURAL TOURISM SITES OF THE CITY OF TABACO
BE IT ENACTED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Tabaco in its regular session assembled, that:
Section 1. The following are hereby declared as Eco-Agricultural Sites in the City of Tabaco, to wit: San Miguel Island, Natunawan Cove and Brgy. Buang (Mayon).
Section 2. The Barangay Councils of the five island-barangays of San Miguel the neighboring barangays near the Natunawan Cove and Brgy. Buang are hereby tasked and deputized to adopt measures for the protection and preservation of said eco-agricultural sites.
Section 3. Penalties. Any person or entity found to cause any destruction of the said eco-agricultural tourism sites shall be penalized by a fine of Five Thousand (P 5,000.00) or imprisonment not exceeding one (1) year or both fine and imprisonment upon the discretion of the Court.
Section 4. Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
ENACTED this 5th day of May, 2003, this City.

AN ORDINANCE MANDATING ALL HOTELS, MOTELS, INNS OR ANY KIND OF LODGING PLACE LOCATED WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF TABACO CITY TO ADD LATEX CONDOMS TO THEIR USUAL AMENITIES SUITABLE TO ITS CUSTOMERS FREE OF CHARGE
WHEREAS, it is a common knowledge that HIV (Human Immune Virus) has alarmingly spread worldwide including the Philippines causing serious complications on the health of the infected person which eventually lead to mortality;
WHEREAS, necessary precautionary measures must be practiced to regulate the rapid spread of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD's) or HIV;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIN by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tabaco in session assembled, that
Section 1, Mandatory Supply of Condoms. - The supply of condoms suitable to customers is hereinafter mandated and added to the usual amenities of all hotels, motels, inns or any kind of lodging place with the cost thereof being shouldered by the owner/s of the establishment concerned and hand-outs regarding condoms is likewise mandated to be placed in all rooms for the proper guidance of the installation of the same.
Section 2. Penalty. - Any owner and/or maintainer/manager of the motel, hotel, inn or any kind of lodging place who fails to comply or has violated the provision of this ordinance shall pay One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00) as fine.
Section 3. Effectivity. - This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval, posting and publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the city where it shall be enforced.
