    MAYON VOLCANO
       
Mount Mayon one of the most active volcanoes in the Philippine
and world reknown because of its almost perfect cone. It stands
majestically at 7,946 feet from the broad base about 10 kilometers
in radius. The crater is 2,451 meter above sea level and with a
diameter of gases continually emits from the craters. It derived
its name from the word "magayon", meaning beautiful. Its recorded
eruption was in 1616, but its worst eruption occurred in February 1,
1814, which buried the settlements of Cagsawa and Budiao in the town
of Daraga. For mountain climbers, Mount Mayon offers an exciting and
overwhelming adventure.
    MAYON SKYLINE                   
From more spices in your discovery, you go up to the higher elevation.
Accessible by any type of vehicle at Barangay Buang, about 4 kilometers
away from the town proper of Tabaco and another 9 kilometers ascent at
2500 feet above sea level on the slopes of Mayon Volcano. is the Mayon
Vista Lodge Formerly Mayon Resthouse, you're assured here of a curative
spell the moment you feel the invigorating cool air, the commanding view
of the entire province and the wide Pacific Ocean. You can almost say
that you're on the top of the world, a conqueror of Mayon or at the very
least say, "My weary days are over".

    TABACO PARISH BELFRY   
The Tabaco Parish Belfry is located strategically in the center of the city. From where it stands you could view the pier, the main road line from Bombon to Tagas. This structure shows the existence of the Spaniard for its architecture. Now a century old structures holds a big bell and a giant watch before. A place to reminisce memory and a place of relaxation.
    TABACO INTERNATIONAL SEAPORT   
The Port of Tabaco is one of the two (2) ports of entry open to overseas shipping in the Province of Albay, the other being located in Legazpi City. The port is on the eastern coast of the country and have facilities of only an appreciable size. The Port of Tabaco serves mainly as a passenger and cargo movement, facility for the islands of San Miguel, Cagraray, Batan and Rapu-Rapu as well as the island province of Catanduanes. Tabaco port is an international port, foreign export activities mainly cater Japan, Taiwan and other parts of Asia and Europe. The Port of Tabaco has a nice scenic to view sunsets.
    PEI CHING PAGODAS   
The Pei Ching Pagoda shows the Chinese art in architecture. During Mid 60's the Structure is installed by the Chinese descendant of the community. The structure is located within the Chinese school compound. It's also a nice place for poetic, artistic people hang-out.
    SAN LORENZO BEACH   
The clear and at most unspoiled beach has lured hundreds of tourists to
its place in Tabaco. Its strategic location lays breath-taking view of
Tabaco Bay and the green softlooking and Quiet Island of San Miguel.
    SAN MIGUEL AQUAMARINE RESERVE   
   
This is located in Brgy. Sagurong, Tabaco City. This site has given much
satisfaction and has earned prestige for the City of Tabaco. Because this
area/project did not only provide benefits to the coastal community residents
in terms of increase catch rate in the reserve and improved awareness on coastal
conservation, but also won for "2nd Best-Managed Reefs in the Philippines"
given by PhilReefs in January, 2002. Suitable for Scuba Diving and Viewing of
Marina fauna (eg. Vertebrates and Invertebrates) and flora. This aquamarine
reserve is being management by a council composed of Bicol University
Tabaco Campus, Barangay Council and City Government.
    RAWIS LIGHT TOWER   
From Quiet Island of San Miguel, around 20 minute's travel from the
Tabaco shore is Barangay Rawis. It houses the Light tower that guide
vessel of any kind to the Tabaco International Port. From there you
could also see the creation of the seawater on the rock. It's ideal
to a photographic scene.
PLACES AT NEIGHBOURING MUNICIPALITIES
    SPANISH GALLEON WRENCH SITE
This site serves as s strong reminder of the rich Manila to Acapulco
(Mexico) trade routes during the Spanish era. Found along the shores of
Buhutan beach at Sto Domingo, Albay, this galleon relic was wrought by
a strong typhoon on its ways to Acapulco and crushed on the reefs of
Albay gulf. This historical remains live at five fathoms under the sea
with green transparent water. It is an ideal place for scuba diving,
fishing or boating.
    PHILIPPINE GEOTHERMAL PLANT       
Located in Tiwi, Albay, Philippine Geothermal Inc. is tasked with
exploring, exploiting and handling the operations and delivery of the
geothermal power from stream to the National Power Corporation (NPC)
necessary for electrical power generation for the Bicol Region and Luzon.
    CORANGON ISLAND
Corangon Island is a beckons to shell collectors and sea divers to enjoy
as well as the blue waters of Lagonoy Gulf. It has a nice, delightful,
admirable aquatic scenic underneath.
    PALALE FALLS   
Located in Malinao, Albay, this falls have a branded as a source of disastrous
flood. Its cascading water like the Bugsucan falls is a splendid sight because
of it lush surroundings around the falls portray a romantic but cool interlude
for visitors.
    BUGSUCAN FALLS   
Another natural phenomenon in Tiwi besides the road to Joroan is this tiered
waterfall set a beauteous mountainside. Its cascading water blends perfectly
with its natural springs.
    HANGING ROAD TO JOROAN           
Stiff cliffs that hug along the winding roads to Joroan keep one's breath
hanging. It overlooks the wide blue Pacific Ocean thing, breathtaking trip
making your travel a daring experience. Furthermore, it is the home of the
Patroness of Albay, Our Lady of Salvacion.
    JAPANESE GARDEN           
Developed by Japanese Peace Corps Volunteers, a hectare-sized found
in Tiwi proper. Unique and extraordinary because of the Japanese style
of landscaping local material and native flora.
    BUSAY FALLS   
On the east of Albay, about 4 kilometers away from the commercial hub of
Tabaco City, is Malilipot. It is here where you can find the 800 feet high
waterfall named "BUSAY". It is an enchanting place to see and feel the
comfort of the cool water. The seven tiered falls is surround by lush
growth of plants and trees as if you have entered a dense jungle. Take a
long day swim here under shady pools and feel fresh. You'll notice that
you have at least escaped from the polluted atmosphere of the city life.
    SOGOD BEACH
The clear and almost unspoiled beaches have lured hundred of tourists to the
place in Bacacay, Albay with breathtaking view of Island of San Miguel and
its towering coconut palms and lush vegetation that provided cool shades. A
convenient place to spend the summer. Gazebos and Bancas are available for
hire for visitors.
